Matthew Johnson

Matthew Johnson is the lead field technician at Climate Control, Inc. Matthew has over eight years of experience in communications and brand strategy. Prior to joining Climate Control, they worked as a communications manager at Sierra Club and as a senior account executive at Mercom Capital Group.

At Sierra Club, Matthew was responsible for managing the communications department and executing strategic public relations plans. Matthew also wrote and edited hundreds of client materials, including web content, press releases, bylined articles, and editorials.

At Mercom Capital Group, Matthew navigated the relationship between C-Suite executives and external clients in developing client brand and marketing strategies. Matthew also successfully positioned clients as industry thought leaders by securing coverage in mainstream, trade, and international publications. In addition, Matthew served as the lead writer and editor on hundreds of client materials, including web content, press releases, bylined articles, and editorials.

Matthew Johnson has a MA in Sustainable Development from SIT Graduate Institute and a BA in Matthew'story from Augustana College.
