Melissa Díaz Segura is a seasoned professional in life cycle assessment and sustainability, currently serving as Senior LCA and EPD Project Manager at Climate Earth since April 2022. Additionally, Melissa is the founder of The Footprint Initiative, aimed at educating individuals on reducing environmental pollution. Melissa holds the position of Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Forum for Sustainability through Life Cycle Innovation e.V., where efforts focus on implementing global best practices in life cycle thinking. Previous roles include Circularity and Life Cycle Senior Manager at CADIS, Sustainability Consultant at AED, and Environmental Affairs Intern at the Life Cycle Initiative, along with significant contributions to industry training and projects across multiple countries. Melissa earned a Master's degree in Environmental Strategies from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
