Dr. Pratima Rangarajan has extensive work experience in the renewable energy and innovation sectors. Dr Pratima currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Climate Investment (CI) since June 2017. Prior to this, they worked at GE Renewable Energy as the General Manager for Energy Storage and Wind Products from April 2014 to April 2017. Dr. Rangarajan also held the position of Deputy CTO and Senior Vice President for Global Research & Innovation at Vestas Wind Systems from March 2011 to February 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked at GE Energy as the Licensing & Services Director for Gasification from June 2007 to March 2011. Before joining GE Energy, they were the VP of Research and Development at NBC Universal from August 2005 to June 2007. Dr. Rangarajan started their professional journey at GE Global Research, where they served as a Scientist & Manager for the Polymers Laboratory from December 1996 to July 2005.
Dr Pratima Rangarajan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1989. Dr Pratima subsequently pursued a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering at Princeton University, completing their PhD in 1994.
