Brenda Medina-Maldonado

Brenda Medina-Maldonado is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community engagement and sustainability initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Officer for Community at Climate United, Brenda previously held multiple roles at Dream.Org, including Transformative Communities Senior Program Manager, where outreach to Community Based Organizations (CBOs) for equitable climate projects was a key focus. Brenda's background also includes directing the Student Greening Program at Sustainable Works, training over 60 volunteer student leaders in sustainability practices. Additionally, Brenda has a strong financial foundation, having progressed from Receptionist to Senior Staff Accountant at Keslow Camera, Inc. Brenda's educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Spanish from UC Santa Barbara, as well as Associate degrees in Public Policy with a specialization in Environmental Policy and Recycling and Resource Management from Santa Monica College.
