Christophe Mortier

Christophe Mortier is an accomplished data and analytics professional with extensive experience in leading data initiatives across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Data & Analytics at Climeworks since March 2022, Christophe is responsible for the development and operation of a sophisticated cross-business units Data Platform and driving data community initiatives. Previous roles at Climeworks include Data & Analytics Manager and Senior Data Scientist, where Christophe focused on enhancing Direct Air Capture technology through data-driven optimization and machine learning. Prior to Climeworks, Christophe worked as a Senior Technology Consultant at BearingPoint, specializing in data science, AI, and blockchain projects, and has a diverse background in business intelligence and data engineering through roles at saracus consulting GmbH, BKW Energie AG, and various internships, including work at CERN. Christophe holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich and has completed numerous specialized courses in data science and analytics from prestigious institutions.
