Yifan Zhu

Yifan Zhu is a skilled statistician with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Currently serving as Principal Statistician at ClinChoice since December 2019, Yifan has led phase I PK and PD studies for diabetes drugs and contributed to a phase III obesity drug study. Previous roles include Senior Statistician at ClinChoice and Statistician II and I at Pharmapace, Inc., where Yifan was involved in statistical consulting and clinical trial data analysis. Yifan holds a Master of Science in Statistics from San Diego State University and additional degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Academic contributions include teaching and tutoring statistics courses at San Diego State University and serving as a lecturer and teaching assistant in earlier roles. Additional experience includes interpretation services for Chinese manufacturers during international expos.
