Julio Ortega Usobiaga

Julio Ortega Usobiaga, MD, PhD, FEBOS-CR, is an experienced ophthalmologist with a specialization in cataract and refractive surgery. Since November 2001, Julio has served as the Overseas Medical Director and ophthalmologist at Clínica Baviera. In addition, Julio holds roles as a Member of the Refractive Surgery Advisory Board for Aier Eye Hospital and as a Special Consultant for Aier Global Vision Care Management Co. Ltd. Prior experience includes working as an ophthalmologist at Institut Català de la Salut and completing a residency in ophthalmology at Hospital Gregorio Marañón. Julio obtained an M.D. in Medicine and Surgery and later a Ph.D. in the same field from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
