Heidi Swygard

Heidi Swygard has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving as a Medical Director at ViiV Healthcare since June 2020 and as a Speaker for Clinical Care Options since January 2017, where presentations focus on current medical research and scientific findings. Swygard holds the position of Associate Professor of Medicine at UNC Chapel Hill, providing oversight for clinics serving over 1500 HIV+ patients and directing the annual HIV conference. Additionally, as the Viral Hepatitis Medical Director for North Carolina since April 2016, Swygard oversees statewide viral hepatitis screening and treatment efforts.
