Catherine Miller

Catherine Miller has over 20 years of experience in clinical data management. Catherine currently works at Clinilabs as the Director of Clinical Data Management since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Director of Clinical Data Management at Clinilabs from January 2022 to January 2023.

Before joining Clinilabs, Catherine worked at ICON plc as the Lead Clinical Data Manager from September 2020 to December 2021. Catherine also served as the Team Lead Clinical Data Manager at the University of Utah from September 2019 to September 2020.

Catherine has significant experience in managing clinical data at various organizations. Catherine was the Manager of Clinical Data Management at Sera Prognostics from July 2017 to August 2019, where they were involved in developing diagnostic tests for pregnancy complications. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of Clinical Data Management at Myriad Genetics from November 2014 to July 2017.

Before their time at Myriad Genetics, Catherine served as the Associate Director of Clinical Data Management at Watson Pharmaceuticals from April 2009 to November 2014. Catherine was responsible for managing clinical data for the company's various divisions.

Catherine's early career includes roles at RadPharm as the Senior Manager of Clinical Data Management and Clinical Technologies from September 2008 to March 2009, and as a Manager of Clinical Data Management from May 2007 to September 2008. Catherine also gained experience in clinical data management at GE Healthcare 101 CARNEGIE CENTER from April 2000 to May 2007.

Catherine started their career as a Drug Safety and Data Management Coordinator at The Liposome Company, Inc from October 1996 to April 2000. Catherine's earlier experience includes working as a Toxicology Technician at FMC Chemical Research and Development Center from January 1995 to October 1996.

Throughout their career, Catherine has demonstrated expertise in designing study data collection tools, creating data management plans, overseeing data validation, and managing clinical databases. Catherine has also been involved in protocol creation, DMP creation, CRF design, and electronic edit check creation.

Catherine Miller obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology & Animal Science from Rutgers University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. In 2015, they pursued a certification in OpenClinica Central User Certification from OpenClinica, LLC. In addition to their formal education, Catherine also holds several certifications, including the Certified Clinical Data Manager (CCDM) from the Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM). Catherine also has certifications in MedDRA coding/Safety Data Analysis and SMQs from MedDRA MSSO, OpenClinica Designer Certification from OpenClinica, and WHODrug Coding from Uppsala Monitoring Centre.
