Mikki Clancy is currently the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Premier Health Partners (a joint operating company comprising Miami Valley Hospital, Middletown Regional Hospital, and Good Samaritan Hospital) in Dayton. Ms. Clancy has 20 years of information systems and security experience in a variety of industries. She was also the Senior Systems Specialist for the internal audit department, Y2K Program Director, and consulting Director of Computer Applications for Premier Health Partners. Previously, Ms. Clancy worked as a Business Systems Analyst for the Center for the Disabled—a clinic, school, and manufacturing employer for the disabled population in Albany, New York. She also worked for five years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a programming officer for network and mainframe systems at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Ms. Clancy has a B.S. degree in Engineering Science–Technology Management from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. degree in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. Ms. Clancy is chairman of the board for Technology First, president of the South Dayton Dance Theatre Board of Directors, and former president of the Southeast Ohio Chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). She is a member of ISACA, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She serves on the Technology First (Greater Dayton IT Alliance) Board of Trustees and the St. Henry Parish Council. Ms. Clancy has been a national and local speaker on health care information security, audit, and information technology topics since 1997.
Ms. Clancy previously served as a member of the Associate Board of the Dayton Ballet, the Information Systems Security Association, CHIME Patient Safety SIG, the Greater Dayton Technology Task Force, and MIS Training Institute’s HealthSec Seminars Advisory Board. She was listed in 2000 Who’s Who in IT and the 2004 Who’s Who Executives & Professionals. She was selected as one of Modern Healthcare’s 2003 Up & Comers.
