Scott B.

Scott B. has extensive work experience in the field of data and technology. Scott is currently serving as the Chief Data Officer at Clinithink since December 2018. Prior to this, they worked at nThrive for 8 years as the Chief Scientist from July 2010 to November 2018.

Before joining nThrive, Scott founded their own company, Briertech Solutions LLC in August 2009, where they served as the CEO and Founder until July 2010. Scott also held the position of VP Product Development and IT at A-Life Hospital from July 2007 to June 2009.

Scott has a significant history with UPMC. Scott started as the Manager of Software Development in 1998 and later became the Associate Director of Software Development from 2003 to 2005. Scott then progressed to the role of Director of IT from October 2006 to June 2009, where they delivered revenue cycle solutions and clinical applications to internal UPMC business units.

Scott began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at GE, where they worked from September 1993 to December 1997.

Scott B. attended Hiram College from 1987 to 1991, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Economics. Subsequently, from 1991 to 1993, they enrolled at the University of Virginia to complete a Master of Computer Science degree.
