Christine Peters

Christine Peters has over two decades of experience in social services and legal roles, currently serving as the Commissioner of Social Services for Clinton County since March 2004. Throughout this tenure, Christine has held various positions including Director of Legal and Social Services, Sr Social Services Attorney, and Social Services Attorney. Prior to joining Clinton County, Christine worked as an Associate at Niles, Cardany, Piller & Bracy from August 2000 to February 2004. Christine holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Vermont Law and Graduate School, earned between 1997 and 2000, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, completed from 1995 to 1997.
