Laine Kim (Yeoran)

Laine (Yeoran) Kim has had a diverse range of work experiences. Laine (Yeoran) started as a Staff Reporter at The Kyunghyang Shinmun in 2011 and held this role until 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Staff Reporter at The Sherlock Press - Investigative Journalists group for a few months. Following that, they became a Marketing Manager at Jupo Community Cooperative from December 2017 to July 2018. In 2019, they worked as a Forestry Summer Student at DWB Consulting Services Ltd. In 2021, they joined Global Relay as a Software Development Engineer In Test, Co-op from May to August. Laine (Yeoran) then moved on to Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology, where they worked as a Co-op Software Developer from August 2021 to May 2022. Laine (Yeoran) was later promoted to Junior Software Developer at Clio from May to September 2022. Currently, Laine holds the position of Software Developer at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology.

Laine (Yeoran) Kim's education history includes pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc degree in Computing Science Second Degree from Simon Fraser University from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, Laine attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2019, where they pursued a Diploma in Forest and Natural Area Management (which was not completed). Before coming to Canada, Laine studied at Korea University, where they obtained a Dual Major Bachelor's Degree in Journalism & Mass Communication/Creative Writing.
