Selim Adiguzel has a diverse range of work experience. In 2016, they participated in the Great Canadian Sales Competition as a Semi Finalist, representing the University of Toronto Mississauga. Selim then became a Campus Ambassador for the competition in 2017, leading a team and meeting weekly sales targets.
In 2018, Selim worked as a Junior Web Developer for SPARESSMART, where they negotiated partnerships, edited product photographs, and uploaded products to websites. Selim then joined I-Xtech as a Sales Executive, managing product logistics, ensuring profitability, and conducting quality assurance.
From 2019 to 2020, Selim worked as a Financial Analyst for Missisystems Canada Inc., reconciling company accounts, erasing duplicates in the ERP system, and conducting outreach in English, Chinese, and Turkish. Selim also worked as a Digital Marketing Associate at CareClinic in 2020.
In 2020, Selim was a Product Management Intern at TheCitiesWithin, where they collaborated with the Founder and evaluated social media campaign effectiveness. Selim then worked as an Academic Consultant at Lawrence Education Group, managing student deadlines, evaluating student progress, and bridging cultural differences as a translator.
In 2021, Selim joined CARITY as a Business Development Representative, securing vehicle inventory and managing Top-of-Funnel lead conversion. Currently, they are working at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology as a Business Development Representative.
Selim Adiguzel received their high school education at Utahloy International School of Guangzhou from 2002 to 2016. During this time, they were a DP (Diploma Programme) student. After completing high school, they pursued higher education at the University of Toronto Mississauga. From 2016 to 2020, they studied Digital Enterprise Management (HBA) with a focus on Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia. Additionally, Selim Adiguzel obtained several certifications related to sales prospecting, small business sales, the science of sales, and a summary of "What They Don't Teach You at Harvard Business School" through LinkedIn in 2019.
