Jennifer Arévalo Ferretti currently serves as the Director of the Digital Library Federation at the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) since June 2021, where also holds the position of Senior Program Officer. Jennifer is an Adjunct Faculty member at San Jose State University, instructing the course INFO281-20 on topics related to information ethics and diverse communities. Prior experience includes the role of Digital Initiatives Librarian at the Maryland Institute College of Art from July 2015 to May 2021, contributing significantly to digitization efforts and library strategy. Jennifer’s earlier positions encompass various roles in archives and digitization at institutions such as the Smithsonian Channel and Barnard College. Jennifer holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute and a BFA in Photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
