Shameel Abdulla has held various roles throughout their work experience. Shameel started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Wipro Technologies in 2005, where they led the development team for a billing system for Origin Energy. In 2009, they joined EMC Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the development of the cloud module of DiskXtender. During their time at EMC, they filed two patents and played a key role in product architecture and implementation. In 2012, Shameel co-founded Kode Blink, a mobile integrated solutions service provider, where they served as the CEO. Kode Blink developed popular mobile apps and became a preferred partner for several MNCs. In 2013, the services division of Kode Blink was sold off to an MNC. Shameel then founded Jiffstore Software Labs in 2013, serving as the CEO. Jiffstore was a marketplace for local grocery stores and was later acquired by Peppertap in 2015. At PepperTap, Shameel took on the role of AVP - Product, Special Projects, leading product development for the reverse logistics business. Most recently, Shameel is the CEO of Clootrack, a real-time customer experience analytics platform that helps brands identify factors influencing adoption and churn through user conversations.
Shameel Abdulla attended the College of Engineering Trivandrum from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a BTech degree in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. In 2012, they briefly attended the Indian School of Business but did not complete their studies, thus resulting in a dropout status.
