Alejandro Velez

Alejandro Velez is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in equity research and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Close Brothers Asset Management since January 2016, Alejandro previously held positions as an Equity Research Analyst at the same firm and as a Portfolio Manager at Julius Baer from July 2013 to January 2016. Alejandro's career began at Merrill Lynch, where roles included Analyst and Analyst - Portfolio Manager from September 2008 to June 2013. Earlier, Alejandro co-founded VELEZ FERRAGUT S.L. in late 2007. Alejandro holds a Master's degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Navarra and a Licenciado in Administración de Empresas from Universidad EAFIT, along with an intercambio at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
