James Guest

James Guest is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance and risk management, currently serving as Senior Governance and Risk Manager at Close Brothers since July 2022. Previously, James worked at Close Brothers Premium Finance in various capacities including Governance Manager and Broker Monitoring Manager from October 2019 to July 2022, and spent time at Close Brothers as a Credit Risk Analyst and Graduate Risk Analyst between March 2016 and October 2019. Early in their career, James held roles such as PMO Analyst at SCG & SEG Consultancy Services Ltd and participated in sports and social organizing through several vocational studies. James obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of York, where studies spanned from 2012 to 2015, following a foundational education at Norwich School from 2001 to 2012.
