Neil Fraser

Neil Fraser has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Neil is currently working at Close Brothers as the Head of Business Information Security. Prior to this, they held the positions of Senior Business Information Security Officer and Business Information Security Officer at the same company.

Before joining Close Brothers, Neil worked at Virgin Media Business as a Product Security Architect and a Business Information Security Consultant.

Neil pursued their postgraduate studies at Royal Holloway, University of London, where they completed a MSc in Information Security. Neil focused on secure digital business and personal data protection and conducted research on the impact of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on business operations.

Neil also has experience working at the UK Ministry of Defence, where they held various roles such as Counter Intelligence and Security Manager, Investigative Officer, and Threat Intelligence and Security Analyst.

Neil Fraser's education history starts with their Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Intelligence and Security from Staffordshire University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, completing it in 2017. In 2021, Neil enrolled at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA), which they are expected to complete in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Neil Fraser has also obtained various certifications throughout their career.
