Lakshmi Jimenez

Lakshmi Jimenez currently serves as a Youth Advisor at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and a Student Fellow at Close the Gap Foundation. Since June 2023, Lakshmi has been involved with the Child Mind Institute in the Youth Mental Health Academy, and since January 2023, has been a Youth Council Member at Los Angeles Metro. Additional roles include being a Wise Up Core Member at CHIRLA since July 2022, and an intern at Rising Communities in August 2023. Previous experience includes working as a Web Developer at America On Tech from July 2022 to May 2023, an intern at the California Latino Capitol Association Foundation and GRACE & End Child Poverty California in the summer of 2022. Lakshmi is currently pursuing studies at the STEM Academy at Bernstein High School and is enrolled at Los Angeles Trade Technical College.
