Jakub Hajek

Jakub Hajek has been working in the IT industry since 2004. Jakub began their career as a System Administrator / Network Administrator at Urzad Miasta Tarnow, where they managed Aix 4.3 and Informfix databases, Windows 2003, and Novell. Jakub also had some experience with firewall Checkpoint FireWall-1/VPN-1 (Secure Platform) and Trend Micro InterScan Messaging Security Suite (IMSS) and Spam Prevention Service (SPS). In 2006, they moved to INTERIA.PL S.A. in the same role.

In 2010, Jakub joined Sabre Airline Solutions as a Software Systems Engineering and System Administrator. Jakub then moved to Sabre Travel Network in 2012 as a System Owner. In 2011, they started their own business, Dedicated Solutions, and worked as the Owner. In 2017, Jakub became a DevOps Engineer at NowThis. In 2021, they joined Traefik Labs as a Product Specialist, and in 2022 they moved to Close as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer.

Jakub Hajek obtained a Master's degree in 2003-2008 from Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki i Zarządzania w Rzeszowie. Additionally, they have obtained a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation in September 2020.
