Richard Baxter is a seasoned Technical Artist and Technical Animator with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently employed at Cloud Imperium Games since June 2019, Richard collaborates with international teams to achieve high standards in art, rigging, animation, and tech integration. Prior to this role, Richard worked at Spiral House Ltd. as a Technical Artist/Technical Animator, overseeing both Technical Art and Animation pipelines, while also handling rigging, texturing, modeling, and GUI design. Richard's background includes positions at Dark Energy Digital Ltd, Blade Interactive Studios Limited, and Image-Metrics, where responsibilities encompassed character animation, rigging, particle effects, and cutscene development for several high-profile titles. Richard holds a BA in Animation from Staffordshire University and an HND in Design Communication from De Montfort University.
