Ruslan Shmelev

Ruslan Shmelev has a strong background in software engineering and development, with experience in various roles at different companies. Ruslan currently works at CloudLinux as a Senior Golang Developer and TeamLead, starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Golang Developer at Grid Dynamics from January 2021 to March 2022. Ruslan also worked at Dell EMC as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2017 to December 2020. During their time at Dell EMC, Ruslan focused on increasing product quality by implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Ruslan also worked on developing and deploying microservices, creating a full CI/CD process, and designing and developing the implementation of a CSI for local volumes using Golang. This solution became open-sourced. Overall, Ruslan has a breadth of experience in software engineering, Golang development, and CI/CD processes.

Ruslan Shmelev completed their education from 2008 to 2014 at Saint Petersburg State University. Ruslan earned a Specialist Diploma in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Engineering.
