Mario Camargo

Mario Camargo has a diverse work experience in the security industry. Mario started their career as the General Manager for Consorcio de Seguridad Integral y Carcelaria S.A, where they focused on designing security systems for correctional facilities. Mario then transitioned to Saltex Group, where they served as the Regional Manager and contributed to the development of the security market in Colombia.

In 1999, Mario joined Honeywell as the Regional Manager for Security & Fire, overseeing multiple countries in the region and implementing sustainable development strategies. After almost two decades at Honeywell, they moved on to become the President - Technology at GM Representations Firm LLC, representing innovative technology companies in the Latin American market and developing commercial opportunities.

Mario's work experience also includes being a Consultant for the Feria Internacional de Seguridad de Bogotá, where they supported the development of the security industry and promoted good practices and innovation. Mario later became an Advisor for Private Sector Relations in the Office of Disability Counseling at the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia.

Currently, Mario is working as the Director for Cloudastructure, Inc., a company that utilizes cloud storage, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to centralize site security management and facilitate geographical scalability for businesses. Overall, Mario Camargo has a strong background in the security industry, with experience in management, consulting, representation, and advisory roles.

Mario Camargo attended Fundación Universitaria San Martín from 1994 to 1998 and obtained a degree in Publicista with a field of study in Marketing and Strategy. In 2005, they completed a seminar on Lobby at Universidad de La Sabana. In 2012, Mario Camargo obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification in Business Skills from the Six Sigma Management Institute by Dr. Mikel J. Harry.
