Cathy Chan

Cathy Chan is a highly experienced technology professional with a strong background in DevOps and software engineering. Currently serving as Lead DevOps Engineer at CloudBees since March 2021, Cathy previously held positions at McGraw Hill, including Lead Software Engineer, where a significant online learning tool was developed and successfully launched, achieving nearly 100% uptime for a user base of 1.5 million. Cathy's career also includes notable roles at Nokia, where expertise in web technologies and standardization was demonstrated, particularly as Vice-Chair and Acting Chair of the Technical Committee of the UPnP Forum and through pioneering work on UPnP implementations. Cathy holds both a PhD and a BEng in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
