Phill Hopkins CSIS has a diverse range of work experience spanning from 1999 to the present. Phill started their career as a Project Support Engineer at Pinacl, where they conducted surveys and documented communication room locations and network infrastructure at Heathrow Airport. Later, they became a Project Coordinator at Pinacl, responsible for delivering IT infrastructure projects for various airport operations.
In 2004, Phill joined Capita Resourcing as a Project Coordinator, focusing on major and minor works projects for BAA IT. Phill played a key role in coordinating the early works for the construction of Terminal 2 Queens Terminal and the relocation of airlines within Terminal 1. Phill also worked on the Airport fibre backbone diversions and network services for Heathrow, airlines, and third parties.
In 2011, Phill joined Atkins as a Senior Implementation Manager, leading Minor and Major IT projects for Heathrow Airport. Later, they became a Commercial Project Manager, delivering IT services for the airport's commercial partners. Phill managed a team of Implementation Managers and facilitated IT infrastructure provisioning for various clients, including retail stores, baggage handling, airlines, freight carriers, and UK Border Force.
Phill then moved to IDE Group in 2021, where they served as a 1st Line Helpdesk Analyst and a 2nd Line Support Systems Administrator. Phill provided technical support and system administration services for the company's IT systems.
Currently, Phill is working at CloudCoCo Plc as a 2nd Line Support Systems Administrator and a 3rd Line Advanced Technical Support Engineer. Phill is responsible for providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting services.
Additionally, Phill has completed an IT Technician Traineeship at IT Career Switch, specializing in IT support. Phill obtained certifications in CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, MCSA Microsoft Windows 7 & 10, Cisco CCENT, and ITIL V3.
Phill Hopkins CSIS has a diverse education history. In 1990, they began an apprenticeship in Electronic & Electrical Engineering at the Ministry of Defense (RSRE Malvern) and also pursued an HNC in Electronic & Electrical Engineering at Worcester Technical College, which they completed in 1994. In 1998, they attended Learning Tree International and studied as a LAN Professional for a year. Most recently, in 2020, Phill obtained a CompTIA Security+ degree in Secure Infrastructure Specialist from CompTia. Phill also holds several certifications, including CompTIA A+ ce, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable, CompTIA Network+ ce, CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist – CSIS Stackable, and CompTIA Security+ ce certifications obtained in 2020 and 2021. Additionally, they hold the PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in 2021. Lastly, Phill is set to receive the Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification in January 2023.
