Sameer Karmarkar

Sameer Karmarkar is an experienced professional with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities in the technology industry. Sameer is currently the CTO & Co-founder of CloudHedge, a position they have held since 2017. Prior to this, Sameer worked as a Director at Avant Insights starting in 2014, where they focused on utilizing IT to provide strategic advantages for businesses.

From 2016 to 2017, Sameer served as the Chief Innovation Officer at WhiteHedge Technologies, where they were responsible for introducing new ideas and innovation in service delivery and products.

Earlier in their career, Sameer was the Co-Founder & Head of Technology/Product at Villagineer from 2012 to 2014, where they built a data-driven technology marketplace and platform for social change in India.

Sameer also gained experience as a Product Development Consultant during their self-employed period from 2010 to 2012, providing digital transformation solutions to traditional businesses.

Sameer's previous roles include Account Manager and Head of Identity & Security Practice at Persistent Systems from 2001 to 2010, where they were involved in the creation of solution offerings and OEM agreements for identity tools.

Sameer started their career as a Software Engineer at Infosys Technologies Limited in 1996 and also worked as a Consultant at Xmedia Corporation from 1998 to 2001 and a Product Developer at CyberCash India from 1997 to 1998.
