Wes French

Wes French has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Wes is currently working as the VP & GM of Climate Solutions at Cloverly since March 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Partnerships at Kiddom from February 2022 to March 2023.

Wes also has extensive experience at Google, where they held various roles. Wes served as a Product Lead for Google for Education's Assistive Learning Products, focusing on K-12 solutions incorporating AI and assistive technologies. Wes'sresponsibilities included driving design, development, and GTM motions for Google Classroom's AI feature. Wes worked in this role from September 2018 to February 2022.

At Google, Wes also held leadership positions such as Global Product Adoption & GTM Programs for Google Apps for Education, where they worked from November 2015 to October 2018. Wes also led a new products/services incubator as a UX Research Consultant and Team Lead for the Google CX Lab from March 2015 to February 2016. Additionally, Wes worked as the Strategy & Operations Manager for SMB Global Growth and as an Account Strategist and Team Lead for US SMB Sales.

Before joining Google, Wes began their career in education as a High School Math Teacher and Varsity Football Coach at Teach for America from August 2011 to July 2013. Wes also served as a Campaign Manager for the Georgia State Senate in 2012 and as a Legislative Intern for the United States Senate in 2010.

Wes French brings a wealth of experience in tech, education, and leadership roles to their current position at Cloverly.

Wes French completed their Honors Program and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from The University of Georgia. Wes also obtained a Certificate in Personal and Organizational Leadership from the University of Georgia - Institute for Leadership Advancement during the years 2009 to 2011. Additionally, Wes received a certification in Product Management from General Assembly in November 2017. There is no information provided regarding their education history before attending The University of Georgia, but it is known that they attended The Westminster Schools at some point as well.
