Abi Odell CIPD

Abi Odell CIPD has had a long and varied career in the field of Human Resources. Abi began their career in 1996 at McDonald's Corporation in various roles. In 2004, they moved to Millar Associates as a Senior Recruitment Administrator/PA. In 2005, they joined Pell & Bales as an HR Advisor, where they provided clients with a bespoke HR Advisory Service. From 2008 to 2019, they worked at the British Dental Association as an HR Manager/HR Consultant - Advisory Services, where they advised members on all aspects of practice management. In 2019, they began working for Phoenix Futures as an HR Manager and for Social Interest Group as a People and Culture Business Partner. Currently, they are employed at EXCEL ESPORTS as a People and Culture Manager, where they are focused on building the people infrastructure needed to scale the organisation.

Abi Odell CIPD holds an Advanced Diploma in Employment Law (Masters) from MOL, which they obtained in 2011-2012. Abi also holds a Certificate in Mental Health First Aid and Advocacy in the Workplace from Barking & Dagenham College, which they obtained in May 2022. Abi has also obtained a German Employment Law certification from Eversheds Sutherland in November 2021. Additionally, they hold an ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN EMPLOYMENT LAW from BTEC AWARD LEVEL 7 - Masters, an Assoc CIPD certification from CIPD, and an Interpersonal Mediation Practitioner’s Certificate - Level 4 from AIM Awards (formerly OCN East Midlands).
