Mark O'Brien has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Mark started their career at Xerox as VP of Marketing, responsible for the Retail, Catalogue, and Internet Printer business in North America. Afterwards, they served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Boundless Technologies and then as the VP of Sales and Marketing at Clear One/Ivron Systems.

Mark later became the Regional Sales Manager at Borland/Togethersoft and then the SVP at No Magic Inc. Mark then worked as the VP of Sales and Marketing at Semantic Designs, where they provided software tools and solutions to optimize business-critical software systems.

Mark continued their career as the VP of Sales and Marketing at Cooper Consulting, where they drove $1.6m in commercial business and managed strategic partner relationships with IBM, Microsoft, PegaSystems, and others. Mark then served as the Sales Director at Copper Mobile, delivering enterprise mobile applications for clients like Cisco and Visa.

After that, Mark took on the role of Business Ambassador at Leap To Success, providing marketing and IT support to local non-profit agencies. Mark currently works as the Director of Business Development at CM First Group, helping customers maximize their investments in legacy software applications and data systems through revenue generation, marketing, and strategic partnerships. Mark has also formed partnerships with CA Technologies and IBM in their current role.

Mark O'Brien completed an MBA in International Management at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1982. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Management & Economics at UMass Boston from 1979-1981. Additionally, they attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business for an Executive Management Program focused on Channel Distribution & Operations, though the exact dates are unavailable.
