William Vanderwaal

William VanderWaal has over two decades of experience in the metals industry, currently serving as the Director of Operations at Commercial Metals Company since August 1998. William's previous roles within the company include Works Manager, Quality Assurance and Reliability Manager, Area Manager of Melting Operations, and Quality Assurance Technician. Prior to joining Commercial Metals Company, VanderWaal owned VanderWaal Construction from January 1991 to August 1998 and served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from June 1980 to June 1984. VanderWaal holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Colorado Technical University.
