Dominic DiCicco has over 13 years of professional experience in software engineering and development. Dominic began their career in 2006 as a Web Developer Intern at Michigan State University, where they worked with ColdFusion Development, JavaScript, AJAX, and DOM Manipulation. Dominic then worked as a Web Developer Intern at Courtland Consulting, where they worked on client projects using PHP and Adobe Flash. In 2009, they worked as a Software Engineer at Crowe Horwath LLP, where they were the primary developer adding new features to the now defunct explorechicago.org, using Java, JSP, Day Communique 4, jQuery, and GMaps API. Dominic also developed and integrated a CMS controlled 'neighborhoods' section of the website, and developed a new homepage for the site. In the same year, they also worked as a Student Software Developer at The Toro Company, where they and a team of three other developers developed a home irrigation scheduling software. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Slalom Consulting as a Solution Architect and Senior Software Engineer. Finally, they have been with CMG (Capital Markets Gateway) since 2018, where they have held the roles of Engineering Director, Engineering Manager, and Engineer.
Dominic DiCicco graduated from Southgate Anderson High School, and went on to earn a BS in Computer Science and Telecommunications from Michigan State University.
