Bruce Newman

Bruce Newman has a diverse work experience spanning from 1981 to 2008. Bruce started their career as a Co-op Student at Harris Corporation in 1981. From 1984 to 1987, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation. Following this, they joined Andersen Consulting / Accenture in 1989 as a Sr. Manager, where they managed teams and implemented new processes and systems for clients in the telecom, publishing, and financial services industries.

In 1998, Bruce moved to Circle K / Tosco Corporation / ConocoPhillips and held roles as Director of IT, where they oversaw the corporate infrastructure and managed a large staff and budget. Bruce also served as VP Business Services, leading the transition efforts during the Phillips acquisition and Conoco merger, capturing $200MM in savings through synergy coordination.

Starting in 2003, Bruce worked at MediServe Information Systems as the VP of Professional Services. Bruce built a consulting organization capable of Business Process Redesign and Clinical Transformation for hospital-based departments. During this time, they also had a consulting role at Circle K, where they successfully designed and implemented a business continuity plan in preparation for the sale of the company.

Finally, Bruce was the President of CMIT Solutions of the Northeast Valley from 2007 to 2008. Bruce provided IT services to small and medium businesses and acted as an outsourced CIO, delivering enterprise-class technology services at affordable prices.

Bruce Newman has a comprehensive education history. Bruce pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, studying there from 1979 to 1984. Following that, they attended North Plainfield High School for their secondary education, graduating in 1979. In 1987, Bruce enrolled in the NYU Stern School of Business, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing in 1989. During the same period, they also pursued an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from New York University. Furthermore, in April 2020, Bruce obtained a certification in Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Sales from Connectwise.
