Michael Proitsis

Michael Proitsis serves as the Asset Quality Practice Lead and Principal Engineer at CMP Consulting Group since May 2011, overseeing project management and technical review for various water industry initiatives across Victoria and other regions. In parallel, Michael holds the position of Senior Design Auditor & Standards Engineer at South East Water, specializing in the auditing of water and sewerage designs for land developments. Prior roles include Client Service Manager at MWH, where project capital values ranged from $500k to $20M, and multiple leadership positions at AECOM, contributing significantly to the growth of the Victorian water group. Michael's career launched with roles in drainage and traffic engineering, complemented by a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology and a Master of Technology in Water from Deakin University.
