Bruce Johnson serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Nicasa Behavioral Health Services, a not-for-profit agency dedicated to preventing and treating substance abuse, since September 1992. In addition to this role, Johnson is an Adjunct Faculty member teaching courses related to Community Policing, Leadership, Ethics, Forensics, and Investigations. Johnson also contributes as an Instructor at the University of Illinois Center for Public Safety and Justice and the US Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs Diagnostics Center. As a Subject Matter Expert at CNA Corporation, Johnson focuses on behavioral health, law enforcement, and community engagement. Johnson's prior experience includes serving as Chief Warrant Officer in the United States Marine Corps and Chief of Police for the Round Lake Park Police Department. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Social Justice from Lewis University and various certificates in Non-Profit Management and Nonprofit Leadership from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
