David W.

David W. has extensive experience in research and policy advisory roles, currently serving as a Research Scientist at CNA Corporation since May 2017. Prior to this position, David W. worked at the Pentagon within the US Department of Defense from September 2013 to July 2016, where responsibilities included serving as an Expert Advisor on C-ISIL Policy and Director of Jordan Policy, as well as advising the Office of the Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Defense for Middle East Security. David W. holds advanced degrees from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, including an MA and PhD in Middle East Studies and International Security Studies, and has also studied at Middlebury College, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the University of Florida, where a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government was earned.
