Ryan Baker, PhD, is a Research Scientist at CNA Corporation since October 2021, contributing to the nonprofit research organization sponsored by the US Department of the Navy. In addition to this role, Ryan serves as a Supply and Logistics Officer (LtCol) in the US Marine Corps, where responsibilities include acting as a strategic analyst for HQMC and previously serving as Chief of Staff for the Strategic Review of Amphibious Operations. Ryan has led the Marine Corps COVID-19 Cell's data management and analysis efforts while regularly briefing senior military leaders and legislative bodies. Ryan holds a PhD in Public Policy and a Master’s in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University, alongside a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, History, and International Relations from the University of Utah.
