Tess Martin

Tess Martin currently serves as a Forestry Technician (Hotshot/Handcrew) with the USDA Forest Service and is also a Senior Research Specialist at CNA Corporation, both roles held since May 2024 and May 2023, respectively. Prior positions include a Research Intern at OCEA, Inc., a Type 2 Wildland Firefighter with the MD Forest Service, and a Volunteer at the Maryland Conservation Corps through AmeriCorps. Additional experience encompasses internships with the U.S. House of Representatives, The Carter Center, and The Nature Conservancy. Tess Martin holds a Master of Arts in Security Studies from Georgetown University, a Bachelor's degree in Politics and Government from Sciences Po, a Certificate in International/Global Studies from American University, and a high school diploma from Grier School.
