Sabine Konings is a postdoctoral researcher at the CNCR, Center for Neurogenomics & Cognitive Research since December 2023, with prior experience as a postdoctoral researcher at Lund University from September 2017 to May 2023. At Lund University, Sabine focused on studying the aggregation of amyloid-β at synaptic terminals and its morphological changes in primary neurons, particularly investigating the impact of the ApoE4 genetic risk factor. Sabine obtained a PhD in Neuroscience from Lund University (2017-2022) and holds an MSc in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences, both from Maastricht University. Additionally, Sabine contributed as a research intern at the Experimental Dementia Research Unit at Lund University and worked as a secretary for the Student Athletics and Running Association of Maastricht UROS.
