Valerie Arnold, MD DFAPA, ACPsych, DFAACAP, serves as the Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center since June 2001 and is a Principal Investigator at CNS Healthcare. Arnold is also the Department Chief of Psychiatric Services at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and has been actively involved in multiple committees within the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association. Additionally, Arnold contributes to the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in various roles, including Assistant Fellowship Training Director for Child Psychiatry. In the broader medical community, Arnold has held various leadership positions within the Memphis and Shelby County Medical Association and the Tennessee Medical Association. Prior experience includes serving as Interim Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Science from April 2005 to June 2014.
