Wilkis Obina

Wilkis Obina is an experienced information technology professional currently serving as the Information Technology Risk Manager at CIC Insurance Company since June 2021, where responsibilities include evaluating controls for security and compliance and monitoring organizational adherence to information security policies. Wilkis has also held the position of Network and Security Manager at Co-operative Bank of Kenya since March 2013, managing networking staff and external vendors to ensure uninterrupted business operations. Prior to this, the role of Network & Infrastructure Support Engineer was undertaken, focusing on daily support for network infrastructure and leading related projects. Wilkis holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Engineering from Moi University, obtained between 2002 and 2007.
