Sean McGinnis

Sean McGinnis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy policy and environmental consulting. As a partner at CO2EFFICIENT since its founding in 2017, Sean has contributed to advancing sustainable practices. Previously, Sean held the position of Vice President and Senior Advisor at the Energy Consumer Market Alignment Project from 2018 to 2021, where important discussions on digital technologies in the energy sector took place. Sean served as Director at The Horinko Group from 2010 to 2018, focusing on policy, science, and communications in environmental contexts. Additionally, Sean was Treasurer for the Water Resources Action Project, supporting public health initiatives in underserved communities. Earlier career roles included International Credit Portfolio Manager at Northern Trust Corporation and internships at General Motors Acceptance Corporation and Alton Securities Group, following a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
