Michael Rios

Michael Rios is an experienced operations manager at Coachella Valley Water District, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of a 500-mile irrigation water distribution system since September 2006. Prior to this role, Michael served as a wildland firefighter with the USDA Forest Service from December 2003 to August 2006, working as an IHC Hotshot crew member responsible for fire suppression in national forests. Michael also held the position of warehouse manager at Glazcon Industries from November 2002 to December 2003 and served as a combat engineer in the United States Army from July 1998 to November 2002, where training encompassed demolitions and mine clearing in a mechanized unit, alongside infantry tactics.
