Tom Nyilis

Tom Nyilis has worked in a variety of roles since 1994. Tom began their career as a Retail Sales Merchandiser at JCPenney in 1994. In 2003, they became an Account Executive at Wynit, Inc., followed by a similar role at Boston Phoenix in 2005. In 2007, they were Assistant Director of Admissions at The New England Institute of Art. In 2010, they graduated from the American Academy of Personal Training as a Personal Fitness Trainer. From 2012 to 2022, they worked as a Boxing Coach at CoachUp, and also held roles as a Personal Trainer and Senior Management at Commonwealth Sports Club. In 2022, they became a USA Boxing Level 1 Official at USA Boxing.

Tom Nyilis' education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Sports Medicine from SUNY Brockport between 1992 and 1994. In 2009 and 2010 they obtained a AATP Certification from the American Academy of Personal Training. Tom has also attended Hudson Valley Community College, International Sports Sciences Association, Lionel University, and Middlesex Community College, though no degree or field of study was specified for these institutions. In addition, Nyilis has obtained certifications from the International Sports Sciences Association College of Exercise Science, USA Boxing, Inc., and the American Academy of Personal Training Boston. These certifications include Exercise/Fitness Therapy Certification, Corrective Exercise Specialist, AAPT, ISSA, USA Boxing, Boxing Coach Level I, Corrective Exercise Specialization (CES), Exercise/Fitness Therapy Certification, Personal Training, and Personal Training.
