Josh Vester

Josh Vester is an accomplished creative professional currently serving as the Creative Director and Lead Product Designer at Coal Headwear since August 2022, where responsibilities include shaping the brand’s creative vision and maintaining a cohesive brand voice. Prior to this role, Josh founded Backyard Creative Co as an owner and freelance designer while also working as a Product Designer at The Outdoor Recreation Group, focusing on backpacks and bag items. With extensive experience at Brooks Running, Josh held multiple roles, including Lead Designer and Associate Apparel Designer for men’s apparel and accessories, contributing to design and trend strategies. Additional experience includes a contract position as a Designer and Pattern Maker at NWT3K Outerwear and a design internship with K2 Sports. Josh holds an AAS in Apparel Design and Development from Seattle Central College and an Associate's degree in Art/Business from Green River College.
