Dean Polly

Dean joined Coal Services in February 2018 as the Head of Prevention and was appointed to the role of Deputy General Manager, Insurance in November 2021. As the Head of Prevention Dean led the design and implementation of the Account Management Framework which guides the way in which Coal Mines Insurance engages with both its external customers and internal stakeholders. Dean’s worker's compensation career spans more than 16 years, during which time he has held leadership roles at Employers Mutual Limited and Allianz Australia where he had accountabilities across underwriting and premium management, reinsurance, account management, and distribution.
