John Gontarz has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. From 2000 to 2003, they worked as an Analytical Systems Specialist at Bose Corporation. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at DataSense Solutions. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Lead Consultant at Corporate Technologies. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Principal Consultant at SAP. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Sales Engineer and Principal Data Platform Architect at Snowflake, and is currently serving as the Head of Solutions Architecture at Coalesce.io.

John Gontarz obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst between 1996 and 2000. John has also obtained several certifications, including SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer and SnowPro Advanced: Architect from Snowflake in 2021 and 2020, respectively.
