Katie Bywater has over 10 years of work experience in the fields of People Operations and Talent Acquisition. Katie started their career as a Cross-Cultural Management Research Assistant at the University of Colorado in 2012 before moving on to work as a Marketing Specialist at Scrib and as a Startup Project Manager at Boomtown Accelerator. In 2014, they worked as a Human Resources Specialist at SolidFire, Inc. before becoming a Training Coordinator at SpotX in 2016. In 2017, they joined Wunder as a Manager of People Operations and worked their way up to Head of People & Talent. Katie'slatest position is a Head of People at Coast Energy.

Katie Bywater earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources, Business Strategy, Entrepreneurship & Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business. Katie also obtained a certification as an SHRM Certified Professional from SHRM in January 2018.
