Steven Abelowitz

Steven Abelowitz has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Steven started their career as the Founder and Business Owner of Coastal Kids in 1998. In 2001, they became the Group President of the same company. Throughout their career, they have held various roles, including being an Adjunct Professor at Keck Medicine of USC in 2008 and serving as an Affiliate Pediatrician on the Board of Managers at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in 2019. Currently, they are working as the Medical Director of Business Development at Pediatric Associates, a position they started in 2020. Additionally, they hold advisory board positions at Emulait, OCCIPO, and MYOR, starting in 2022 and 2023. Steven is also a member of the Medical Leadership Council at Optum and an Advisory Council member at Providence.

Steven Abelowitz completed their education in the field of medicine. Steven obtained a Bachelor of Medical Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 1986 and 1989. Steven then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the same university from 1986 to 1992. Following this, they enrolled in the Pediatrics Residency Program at UC Irvine from 1995 to 1998, where they became board-certified as a Pediatrician. In addition to their educational background, Steven Abelowitz obtained a certification in Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) in October 1998.
