Doug Bascombe

Doug Bascombe is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the broadcast and video technology sectors. Currently serving as Project Engineer at Cobalt Digital since December 2022, Doug has previously held significant roles including Director of Engineering for Census Products at MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems from October 2019 to November 2022, and Co-Founder at Census Digital from March 2010 to October 2019. With a robust engineering background, Doug was also Director of Engineering at Ward-Beck Systems for nearly 14 years and has held various engineering positions at Videoquip Research, McCurdy Radio, and Torpey Controls. Doug Bascombe earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University between 1985 and 1989.
